On September 3, 2010, Lake High School dedicated the newly restored stadium for the first home football game. This celebration and memorial was the first public event held on the campus after the catastrophic tornado of June 5, 2010. Honored guests included local & state dignitaries, Rudolph-Libbe, Maumee Bay Turf Center, local banks, and first responders who risked their lives to assist during the aftermath of the tornado. Countless others have donated their time, materials and support during these first few months of rebuilding the school and community. Lake Local Schools extends a sincere thank you and our sympathies toward the families who lost homes and loved ones.
